Puerto Vallarta Horseback Riding PDF Print E-mail

Exciting Trips

Horseback riding through hidden roads and sidewalks with exuberant vegetation and solitary beaches is a wonderful experience.

You can plan an excursion in one of the many surroundings of Puerto Vallarta. Even on a short trip, you will have the opportunity to penetrate in the imposing forest and discover waterfalls that are formed during the rainy season.

You will spend around 80 pesos per hour when renting a horse, and it should take you no more than 5 hours to discover and enjoy some of the beautiful trails, surroundings and views. If you would like longer journeys that include camping, we suggest a 6 day trip to San Sebastian, a town founded in the 16th Century. For this trip there is a minimum of 4 people required and the cost is about 120 dollars per person.

There are other trips available through the Sierra Madre that go from 2 to 10 days. They can be of your entire satisfaction.

You could also head to Yelapa (lover's beach). This town is in front of a beautiful aquamarine scenery offered by the ocean and located among mountains. This town is mostly formed by palapas (houses made of palm trees) and surrounded by tropical atmosphere. It has a magnificent waterfall which highlights the blue color of the ocean and the green of nature.

Scenes like this are found in Puerto Vallarta.
