Puerto Vallarta Airport PDF Print E-mail

The International Airport "Gustavo Diaz Ordaz" is located only 3.5 miles north of the city. Nowadays, it is one of the main destinations of the foreign tourism including United States and Canada. During high season, there are approximately 500 flights a week. The Puerto Vallarta airport provides multiple alternatives of air transportation from many international cities and other Mexican destinations as well.

If you want to enjoy a nice and pleasant vacation in this beautiful colonial city filled with beaches and beautiful landscapes, air transportation is one of the aspects that will make your trip an easy one. Puerto Vallarta is one of the airlines' main destinations in Mexico.

We recommend foreign visitors to bring an official document such as the passport to certify their nationality. This document can be your passport, birth certificate or drivers license. The US government is now requiring valid passports for nationals returning to their country. (This will be enforced starting at the end of 2006).

At the moment of arrival, a tourist card will be issued and has to be returned at your departure in the airport. A small fee will be charged for the card.

Airlines like Aeromexico, Continental, Delta, Mexicana, American, America West, Northwest, Alaska and TWA have regular flights to Puerto Vallarta from several US Cities.
