For those who just come in for a day or two in a Cruise Ship there are many small tours around the area. Most of them you will be able to book directly aboard the ship.

The areas north of the city such as Marina Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta attract boaters and kayakers who can travel through the lagoons. In the southern area boaters can travel to Yelapa and Las Animas Quimixto where they will be able to snorkel inside Coves.
