This is a guide to some of the restaurants in the area: Prices range vary from moderate to expensive.

In Marina Ixtapa there are various restaurants to choose from; Mexican, seafood and Italian are the main specialties.

• If you are craving for a delicious hamburger you will find… and Carlos o’ Brian’s is great place to have fun with friends and family.
• El Galeon is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 till midnight. The décor is like a Spanish Galeon Ship and the favorites are Rib-eye, pasta and fish, shrimp or lobster tacos.
• Zen lounge and sushi bar open from 8:00 pm until 5:00 am. This is a lounge great to spend the evening listening to jazz music.
• La Malinche opens its doors at 8:00 am in the morning offering a great breakfast menu and closes at midnight. Savor Traditional Mexican food in a casual atmosphere.
• Emilio’s offers barbeque ribs and gourmet pizza. It has a nice terrace and bar service.
• Chimichanga which is located Ixtapa Centro, the food is Caribbean style. Reservations are suggested but the dress code is casual.
• Bogart’s opens at six o’ clock in the evenings with piano music and a Casa Blanca ambience with a gourmet menu.
• Villa de la Selva serves lunch and dinner. The house favorites are stuffed brie cheese, duck tacos, and jumbo shrimp with tamarind sauce.
• El Faro opens only for dinner and has gourmet international cuisine; reservations must be made in advance. This restaurant has an amazing view of the bay in a romantic atmosphere.
• Villa del Sol is within the hotel in Zihuatanejo and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a very romantic experience you can reserve a moonlight beach dinner table.
• Caprichos Grill House is an open air patio surrounded by candles. It is a specialty restaurant offering plates such as fresh Carpaccio, shrimp stuffed chile poblano, mesquite grilled hamburger.
• Emilio’s famous for its thin crust pizzas. It opens for dinner every night, it has a nice terrace and it’s great for the whole family.
• Fisher’s is already open in the Marina, offering all kinds of fresh seafood.
