Valle de Bravo is surrounded by woods that contrast with the hugeness of its artificial lake. Many water sports can be practiced like skiing, windsurfing, kayaking and fishing.

Lake Valle de Bravo is located in town; its surface is about 5.2 acres, with a depth of 131 ft. There are different options and little shops where you can rent the necessary equipment to practice your favorite water sport.

If you want to go fishing, besides Lake Valle de Bravo, you can head to Parque Nacional Bosencheve, it is 27. Miles north from town on route 15. It is excellent to fish carp and bream.

Sailing and windsurfing are also perfect in Lake Valle de Bravo, small boats and sailboats are available for rent. There are few places that offer the service: City Dock: (Embarcadero Municipal) is right in town, a few minutes from downtown. You can rent all types of ships, from boats to yachts. There are street vendors during weekends. You can take a look before or after your boat ride.

El Zarco: it is located at 5 minutes from downtown, boats are available for rent and also if you own yours, you will find good mechanics.

Club Nautico y Deportivo de Vela La Peņa: Mainly for maintenance of your boats and yachts.

Club Nautico El Santuario: Besides maintenance, there are boats and equipment available for rent.
