Colorines is a small village very near Valle de Bravo in Mexico. The name derives from the peculiar red flower from this kind of tree. Women use this flower to cook, and kids use the red beans to play. They scrape them on the foor and inmediatly rub them on someone's skin to give a burning sensation. The importance of Colorines is the dam which has served to the termoelectric in Mexico. It is a very tranquil village with a tropical temperature ideal for grwing a variety of crops, plants and flowers. |
