Transportation in and to Rosarito is easy, with an international airport nearby and roads that connect to major cities; Tijuana, Ensenada and the border of San Isidro in the US.

The town of Rosarito is located south of the border from San Diego, California. Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and desert hills, this town offers activities for the whole family.

If you are planning to drive from Tijuana or San Diego there are two highways that come into Rosarito: the toll road which is faster, easier and with spectacular views; and the free road, a four- lane highway. Once in town, taxis and buses are useful to find your way around.

Another option is Mexicoach, a shuttle that takes you across the border to Tijuana and Rosarito. Departures are every 15- 20 minutes starting at 8:00 am until 9:00 pm and the price for Rosarito is $6.00 dlls each way. Remember to bring a valid state ID, non expired passport and visa if your citizenship requires so, in order to return to the US.

The International Airport of Tijuana is around 20 miles east from Rosarito. When coming by plane you can either rent a car, or arrange for pick-up transportation (airport taxi) service which will take you from the airport into Rosarito and back to the airport on the day of your departure. We suggest you book in advance and register at your arrival in the booth located inside the luggage pick up area.
