The State of Baja California Sur is located in the northwest region of Mexico and in the south of the Peninsula.

Before the arrival of the Spaniards, the peninsula of Baja was inhabited by nomadic indigenous groups which left signs of their existence through paintings discovered in the mountainous areas of this territory. It was in 1888 when President Porfirio Diaz ordered the division of Baja California into two sovereign states.

Places like Los Cabos, La Paz, Comondu, Loreto and Mulege allow the visitors to choose among a wide variety of activities. Baja California has top class terrestrial and air transportation. Its hotels and restaurants, golf courses and the Marina are loved by the tourists. Sport fishing is also great.
